SHIKARPUR: A villager was killed and several others were injured in an armed clash between two rival groups of Kosh Jatoi communities within the jurisdiction of Khanpur police station near Shikarpur on Thursday.

According to police, two rival groups of Kosh Jatoi communities clashed over ongoing enmity near Khanpur in district Shikarpur of Sindh, which resulted in the death of Babal Kosh Jatoi on the spot while several other persons suffered injuries. The cause behind the incident was described as an ongoing old enmity. No FIR could be registered till late evening. However, the police said that they had started a probe into the incident.
