LARKANA: A high-level meeting was convened by Jeay Sindh Mahaz (JSM) held here on Friday under the chairmanship of JSM chairman Riyaz Ali Chandio, in which central leaders Azizullah Bhutto, Comrade Zulfikar Ali Buledi, Ghulam Nabi Magnejo and others participated.

Addressing the meeting on this occasion, the chairman Riyaz Chandio said that to please Shahbaz Sharif, Bilawal Zardari, MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami, they are illegally increasing the population in Karachi unlawfully so that the MPA and MNA seats could be handed over to foreigners and their number in the Sindh Assembly could be increased, and the capital of Sindhis in Karachi could show the majority of the population of foreigners, and the existence of Sindhis should be eradicated there.

He said that the census has not been carried out according to the needs of people but for the benefit of specific groups and foreigners, the population of Karachi city is being increased. We demand that the illegal instructions given to the Census Department by the Prime Minister or Bilawal Zardari and the Chief Minister of Sindh should immediately be withdrawn and abolished and a fair census should be done.

He said that so far Karachi census revealed one crore sixty-eight lacs people and 2 million is only a fake census revealed in the letter written by the government to Farooq Sattar, he added. He said that when the seat of MNA is made from 8 to 10 lakhs and the seat of MPA is made from 3 to 5 lakhs, then at the request of someone in Karachi the seats of the assemblies are being increased.

He said that this fake census is a disaster for the Sindhis. Due to the silence of the PPP, its lies and ambitions have been revealed, he added. The people of Sindh will not forgive them in any case, in the last voter list, 81 lakh voters in Karachi have been shown and over that census 40 MNAs have been given to Karachi which is illegal.

He said that Asif Zardari is destroying Sindh and Sindhis in the race of making Bilawal prime minister in the election of 2023. He said that we do not accept it and we will come out on roads against it. He said that the coalition government of Muslim League, JUI and MQM has brought disaster for the people of Sindh, which is the issue of census and not giving water to Sindh under the 91 water accord. He said that the bill passed by the National Assembly and the Senate to control the marine areas is a disaster for the generations of Sindh.
