President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, met with the Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Society Azad Kashmir Branch, Sardar Shafiq Ahmed Khan, and Secretary Ms. Gulzar Fatima.

During the meeting, Red Crescent representatives provided a detailed briefing to the President on the relief preparations for emergency situations. They informed him about ongoing efforts such as mobile health units, volunteer training, and community development to ensure timely assistance to people in unforeseen circumstances.

The President of Azad Kashmir appreciated the efforts of the Red Crescent and emphasized that the organization should always be prepared to handle emergency situations. He assured them that he would discuss funding and other issues with the government to find solutions.

The Red Crescent representatives assured the President that they are ready for any kind of emergency situation despite limited resources. They informed him that their efforts will ensure the safe relocation of people and the provision of aid.
