The restoration of the Khushal Khan Khattak Express, running from Peshawar to Karachi via Layyah, Bhakkar, Kot Addu, and Dera Ghazi Khan, has been announced.

This train will commence its journey on April 25, 2025, Pakistan Railways announced here on Saturday.

The train will travel between Karachi City and Peshawar Cantt, passing through Kotri, Dadu, Larkana, Jacobabad, Kandhkot, Kashmore, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Addu, Kot Sultan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Kundian, Mianwali, Jand, Attock City Junction, and Nowshera before reaching Peshawar.

Khushal Khan Khattak Express is the only train on the main line from Kotri Junction to Attock City Junction via Larkana, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Addu, Mianwali, Peshawar, and Karachi.
