Leaders of the Milli Yakjehti Council have condemned India’s cowardly aggression, stating that the entire nation is united to confront it.
They emphasized that 250 million Pakistanis are ready to make any sacrifice for the defense of the country.
The statement noted that by targeting civilian populations, India has demonstrated its cowardice. The Pakistan Armed Forces have responded promptly to the Indian attack. The leaders said that through its aggression, India has initiated a new war, and this is a time for unity among all religious, political, and social organizations.
They further stated that India has also started water terrorism by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty. It is the responsibility of global powers to stop India’s aggression, or else this war could escalate to the use of nuclear weapons.
The statement called on the government, policymakers, and the Pakistan Armed Forces to respond to Indian aggression. Expressing concern over the situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they appealed to the federal and provincial governments to focus on internal issues.
The Milli Yakjehti Council appealed to religious leaders to deliver sermons on jihad in mosques across the country on May 9 and to observe “Pakistan Defense Resolve Day.” They expressed hope that with God’s help, India will fail.
