Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain has appealed the intending Hajj pilgrims to earn good name for the country during their stay in the holy land of Saudi Arabia.
This was stated by the Minister during a press conference in Makkah Mukarramah on Monday, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report from Makkah. The Minister urged the pilgrims to focus on their religious obligations and pray for the bright future of the country.
The Minister applauded Pakistan Hajj Mission for satisfactory hajj arrangements. Upon his arrival at a Hospital established for Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah Mukarramah, he expressed his satisfaction over the overall arrangements for the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Minister while interacting with the media expressed satisfaction and termed the overall preparedness, up to the mark. He said that he is very happy over the operational preparedness after visiting various facilities, including the Pakistan Hajj Medical Mission, residential buildings, catering companies’ kitchens providing three meals a day and transport arrangements.
He appreciated The Pakistan Hajj Mission team and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, on taking very timely measures, resulting in meticulous preparations for the Pakistani Hujjaj.
During his day-long field visits, the Minister was accompanied by Additional Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs Dr Syed Ata-ur-Rehman, Director General (Hajj), Jeddah/Head of Pakistan Hajj Mission, Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Makkah Faheem Khan Afridi, Head of Medical Mission Brigadier Jamil Ahmed Lakhiar, and Director Mouavneen Asghar Yusufzai.
