The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched the 19th consignment of relief goods for the victims of Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. Following the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the process of sending humanitarian aid to these regions remains ongoing.

According to a statement by NDMA spokesperson on Sunday, the latest shipment, consisting of 17 tons of rice, powdered milk, ready-to-eat food, medicines, and warm bedding, was sent via a special aircraft from Karachi International Airport. The aircraft will deliver the aid to Damascus.

To date, NDMA has sent a total of 1,722 tons of relief goods to Lebanon and Gaza. This is the first shipment of aid for Lebanese refugees and Syrian people in Syria, following six shipments to Lebanon and twelve to Palestine.

The continued humanitarian efforts highlight Pakistan’s commitment to providing aid and support to those affected by the ongoing crises in the region.
