Relief goods consignment for flood victims arrives in Kuala Lumpur

The first consignment of relief goods sent for the flood affected people of Malaysia successfully landed in Kuala Lumpur today.

According to a report by NDMA, the first consignment of humanitarian aid carrying 40 tons of relief items was dispatched from the Islamabad International Airport via a chartered flight.

The relief consignment consisted of tents, blankets, quilts, sleeping bags, mats and life jackets. Upon arrival, the consignment was received by the representatives of Pakistan Embassy in Malaysia and the Malaysian National Disaster Management Agency.

Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to the flood affectees of Malaysia.
