Recovery of 60 kg drugs joinly by Rangers and ANF in Karachi

Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Force, conducted a raid on the den of drug dealer Mama Yaqoob in Muhammadi Colony (Machar Colony) in Karachi. During this operation, a suspect named Usman Ghani was arrested on charges of drug trafficking, and 60 kilograms of hashish were recovered from his possession.

During investigations, the suspect Usman Ghani confessed that he has been involved in drug trafficking since 2018 and is a key supplier of drugs in Karachi. He revealed that, along with his accomplices, he brings drugs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Quetta to Karachi and supplies them to various drug dealers in the city.

Further raids are being conducted to arrest the suspect’s other accomplices. The arrested suspect has been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for legal proceedings.

The people are requested to provide information about such elements to the nearest Rangers check post or the Rangers helpline at 1101. The identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
