Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the latest intrusion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli ministers, settlers, and security forces.
The Prime Minister termed the desecration of this holiest site of Islam as an insult to Muslims all over the world and a blatant violation of international laws and human principles.
He further stated that such systematic provocations and reckless annexation attempts by the occupying power gravely endanger the prospects of peace in the region.
Prime Minister Sharif called these shameful acts a deliberate move to escalate tensions in Palestine and the wider Middle East, which could lead to further instability and conflict.
He called upon the international community to ensure an immediate ceasefire, a complete cessation of all military actions, and the resumption of credible peace negotiations, culminating in the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, in accordance with UN resolutions and international law.
