Vice Chancellor of the University of Poonch, Professor Dr. Muhammad Zakaria Zakir, met with a delegation from the social organization “Lok Sangi.”

According to a statement issued today, the delegation discussed the health threats faced by residents due to the use of contaminated water and sought technical assistance from the university to ensure the provision of clean drinking water in the city.

The Vice Chancellor assured full support in efforts to rid the city of environmental pollution and ensure the supply of clean water. He directed the Department of Environmental Sciences to stay in touch with the community and provide technical assistance. The meeting emphasized the need to develop an effective roadmap for addressing these environmental challenges.
