Rana Tanveer Vows to Deepen Pakistan-Australia Partnership

Islamabad: Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to further deepening its longstanding partnership with Australia, particularly in the fields of food security, climate resilience, water management, and crop improvement. He expressed this commitment during his meeting with General Manager Partnerships, Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research, Dr. Suzie Newman, in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, Rana Tanveer Hussain emphasized the need to translate research into practical, scalable, and farmer-oriented solutions. Both sides agreed to identify new demand-driven and outcome-oriented research initiatives aligned with Pakistan's agricultural and food-security requirements. The Minister also appreciated Australia's longstanding partnership with Pakistan through the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.
