QUETTA: Pakistan Meteorological Department Quetta Regional Center on Thursday forecast that moderate to heavy rain-strong wind-thunderstorm is expected in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhail, Killa Saifullah, Loralai, Duki, Barkhan, Quetta, Matung, Chaghi, Sibi, Ziarat, Harnai, Kohlu, Dera Bughti, Kachhi, Naseerabad, Mand, Lehri, Suhbatpur, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Lasbella and coastal areas of the province.

Heavy rains may generate flash flooding in the vulnerable areas of above-mentioned districts during the period. Possibility of damaging effects due to wind-storm during the forecast period during the next 24 hours.

Weather forecast for next 48 hours; moderate to heavy rain-strong wind-thunderstorm is expected in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhail, Killa Saifullah, Loralai, Duki, Barkhan, Matung, Chaghi, Sibi, Ziarat, Harnai, Kohlu, Dera Bughti, Kachhi, Naseerabad, Mand, Lehri, Suhbatpur, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Lasbella and coastal areas.

However, rain occurred in Barkhan, Dalbandin, Gwadar, Jiwani, Kalat, Khuzdar, Panjgur, Pasni, Quetta, Sibi, Turbat, Ormara, Uthal and Ziarat districts during the last 24 hours. Maximum temperature recorded on Thrusday, Barkhan 33.5, Dalbandin 42.5, Gwadar 36, Jiwani 37.5, Kalat 31, Khuzdar 35, Lasbella 40, Nokkundi 44, Panjgur 35.5, Pasni 39, Quetta 36.5, Samungli 35.5, Sibi 41, Turbat 41, Ormara 37, Zhob 305, Uthal 42, Usta Muhammad 40.5.
