Rain likely in parts of Sindh, Balochistan, KP, Punjab

Pakistan Meteorological Department informed on Monday that monsoon currents from Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal are penetrating upper and central parts of the country and likely to strengthen during the night. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country.

on Monday, rain-wind or thundershower is likely in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast and south Punjab, Pothohar region, Islamabad and Northeast and southeast Balochistan. Isolated heavyfalls may also occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Potohar region during evening or night. Hot and dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

On Tuesday, hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Rain-wind or thundershower is likely in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Pothohar region, Islamabad, Northeast and south Balochistan and upper and southeastern Sindh. Isolated heavyfalls may also occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region and central Punjab.

Past 24 Hours Weather: Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower occurred at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pothohar region and Kashmir.
