Pakistan Meteorological Department informed on Monday that monsoon currents from Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal are penetrating upper and central parts of the country and likely to strengthen during the night. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country.

Isolated heavyfalls may also occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region and central Punjab.

Past 24 Hours Weather: Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower occurred at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pothohar region and Kashmir.
