QUETTA: Pakistan Meteorological Department Quetta Regional Center has forecast that mainly partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the province. However, rain / drizzle, with isolated thunderstorm, may occur in Kech, Gwadar, Awaran, Lasbella, Panjgur and coastal areas of the province during the next 24 hours.
Weather forecast for next 48 hours; A westerly wave is likely to enter Balochistan on January 4, 2024 and may affect parts of the province till January 5, 2024. Under the influence of this weather system, isolated light to moderate rain wind / thunderstorm may occur in Kech, Gwadar, Lasbela, Awaran, Khuzdar, Bolan, Kachi, Kalat, Surab, Kharan, Chaghi, Noshki, Mastung, Chaman, Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, Killa Saifullah and Killa Abdullah districts including its surroundings. Light snow may occur over hills in Killa Saifullah, Killa Abdullah, Ziarat, Quetta, Chaman, and Pishin districts during the next 48 hours. All concerned authorities have been requested to remain alert during the meeting.
