Pakistan Railways will receive the first batch of 46 new coaches from China on 15th of next month, which will not only upgrade the current rolling stock but also provide modern traveling facilities to passengers.

Quoting official source, the APP said out of the total 230 coaches, 46 will be provided by China as completely built units while the remaining 184 coaches will be manufactured in Pakistan by engineers and technical staff of Pakistan Railways under supervision of Chinese experts.

He said the coaches will have the capacity to run at the train’s speed of 160 kilometres per hour.
