Pakistan has expressed the hope that the talks being hosted by Belarus between Russia and Ukraine would yield a productive outcome.

This was expressed by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi during telephonic conversation with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei.

They also discussed situation in Ukraine as well as bilateral relations.

Reiterating Pakistan’s concerns, he said conflict is not in anyone’s interest, particularly the developing countries which are hit the hardest economically.
