Quettta-Chaman main highway was blocked at the site of Customs Buleli crossing on Sunday against the anti encroachment drive conducted by district administration Quetta in Chasma Achozai area of Quetta.
According to detail, district administration Quetta demolished about six hundred homes and other illegal structures during an anti encroachment drive conducted in Chasma Achozai area of Quetta.
Residents of Chasma Achozai blocked Quetta-Chaman highway for all kinds of vehicular traffic in protest over anti encroachment drive conducted in Chasma Achozai area of Quetta.
Talking to PPI, leader of Balochistan Amun Jirga, Lala Muhammad Yousaf Khilji said that about six hundred homes of the citizens of Chasma Achozai were demolished by the district administration Quetta without serving notice upon the residents, adding that Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Lt (Retd) Saad Bin Asad did not know the norms and traditions of the area.
He said that Quetta-Chaman highway had been blocked by the protesters against the high handedness of district administration Quetta, particularly of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Lt (Retd) Saad Bin Asad. Quetta-Chaman highway remained blocked till filing this report.
