Quetta: At least 24 people have been killed and 62 others injured in a devastating explosion at the Quetta Railway Station.
According to Radio Pakistan, the injured are currently receiving treatment at CMH and Civil Hospital Quetta. He confirmed that the explosion was caused by a suicide blast, and investigations are ongoing after gathering evidence from the scene.

Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has condemned the attack, expressing grief over the tragic loss of lives. He has directed authorities to ensure immediate medical assistance for the injured and reiterated Pakistan’s determination to eliminate terrorism.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also condemned the blast, offering condolences to the bereaved families and praying for the departed souls. He has requested an investigation report from the Balochistan government a
nd emphasized that those responsible for harming innocent people will face severe consequences.
Political leaders, religious scholars, and community representatives from across the country have united in condemning the attack. They described the terrorists as enemies of humanity and urged for strict action against them. The Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, along with other religious figures, called for the nation to stand united against such acts of terrorism.
