QUETTA:,,, The attack on Muhsin Dawar, Chairman, National Democratic Movement (NDM) was a failed conspiracy to stifle the voice of peace. These views were expressed by speakers while addressing a protest demonstration held on Thursday under the auspices of NDM outside Quetta Press Club against attack on Muhsin Dawar, Chairman, NDM in North Waziristan.
Condemning assassination attempt on Muhsin Dawar in North Waziristan, speakers demanded of the authorities to bring perpetrators of the crime to justice after conducting fair and impartial inquiry into the incident. They demanded of the authorities to ensure the implementation of National Action Plan to thwart terrorism.
They said that law and order situation in Khyberpukhtynkhwa was deteriorating, but state’s institutions were paying no heed. Condemning firing at the residence of Malak Amanullah Mehterzai in Kuchlak, they demanded of the authorities to probe the unpleasant incident of Kuchlak and take action against the responsible staff of WAPDA and Frontier Corps Balochistan.
The protest demonstration was addressed by Muzamil Shah ,General Secretary, National Democratic Movement, Sana-ullah Kakar, District President, Awami National Party, Nida Sungar, Deputy Secretary, Pushtunkhwa National Awami Party and others. Chanting slogans in support of their demands, protesters dispersed peacefully.
