President, Grand Alliance Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, Mir Naimatullah Kurd said on Wednesday that Grand Alliance Quetta Metropolitan Corporation demanded to bring to the fore ‘Integrated solid waste management system contract’ signed for waste, collection and disposal of waste in Quetta city, but instead of sharing the said contract, authorities of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation raided the homes of the office bearers of Grand Alliance Quetta Metropolitan Corporation.
These views were expressed by him while chairing the meeting of the cabinet of Grand Alliance Quetta Metropolitan Corporation. He said that employees of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation had been struggling for their legitimate demands, including the payment of salaries and pensions to the employees and pensioners on time, upgradation of different cadre posts on the analogy other departments of the provincial government had upgraded different cadre posts of their respective departments and issuance of appointment orders of candidates against deceased quota.
He said that it was the right of the employees of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation to know about the contract signed for waste, collection and disposal of waste in Quetta city. Meeting unanimously passed a resolution, condemning raid at the residence of President, Grand Alliance Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, Mir Naimatullah Kurd.
