Consul General of Qatar to Karachi, Nayef Shahein, called on Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon in his office and discussed bilateral-friendly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, mutual interests, cultural harmony between the two countries, and other pertinent issues.

At the meeting, the Consul praised the hospitality of Pakistan, particularly the people of Sindh. He emphasized that Qatar felt like a second home to the citizens of Pakistan.

Mr Memon extended an invitation to the Consul General to consider investing in Sindh. He highlighted numerous investment opportunities available in Sindh, expressing the government’s readiness to host a delegation from Qatar for exploring these prospects.

Mr Memon emphasized the abundance of investment opportunities available in the region.

He emphasized that there are vast investment opportunities across all sectors, particularly in the transport sector in Sindh. Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon expressed that investment from the Qatari government or private investors would be a welcome step for them.

Mr Memon expressed the desire for businessmen from Qatar to establish relationships with businessmen in Sindh, similar to the cooperation between the governments.

During the meeting, the senior minister of Sindh presented a souvenir, a Sindhi Ajrak and Cap, to the distinguished guest. In return, the Consul General also presented a souvenir to the Sindh Senior Minister.
