Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered the immediate implementation of reduced transport fares following the recent decrease in diesel prices. She directed district officials to ensure these reductions in public transport and ordered public display of the new fare schedules.

District administrations, law enforcement agencies, and the transport department across Punjab have been directed to take action against transport operators not complying with the official fare list.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the public deserves to benefit from lower transport fares and authorities will not tolerate any exploitation.
