Narowal: Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said the people of Punjab have got rid of the incompetent and corrupt government.
Addressing a press conference in Narowal on Sunday, he claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan himself gave an end to a government that was formed after rigging. “The mandate of Pakistan’s biggest province was stolen from the PML-N in the 2018 election,” he recalled.
The minister alleged that PTI’s Punjab government had committed corruption of billions of rupees in the name of development works. Ahsan Iqbal further alleged that Imran Khan transferred Punjab’s funds to other provinces. He termed the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly a “blunder” by the PTI, saying that PML-N will defeat Imran Khan in the election easily.
