The Provincial Disaster Management Authority of Punjab has issued a rain alert in various districts of province from Saturday till Tuesday.

According to the Director General of PDMA, administration of all districts has been directed to remain alert. He asked citizens to contact PDMA Helpline 1129 in case of any emergency.

Meanwhile, Met office said Sunday that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rainwindstorm/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, GilgitBaltistan, Northeast/South Balochistan, Potohar region and Kashmir during night.

Past 24 Hour Weather: Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. Yesterday’s Recorded Highest Maximum Temperature (°C): Shaheed Benazirabad 42, Dadu, Sibbi, Padidan, Nokkundi, Mohenjodaro and Khairpur 41.
