Lahore: Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Ramesh Singh Arora announced that the government will initiate a Minority Card Project on December 20 to support poor and needy families from minority communities. This announcement was made during an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Lahore Correspondent Sajjad Parvez in Lahore.According to Radio Pakistan, Arora stated that through this initiative, every needy and poor family will receive ten thousand and five hundred rupees every three months. He emphasized the government's commitment to safeguarding the rights of minorities across the province, recognizing their significant contribution to nation-building.Earlier, Executive Director of BARGAD, Sabiha Shaheen, commended the PML (N) government for organizing a special Diwali celebration at the official level for the first time in the province's history. Meanwhile, the Hindu community across the country is celebrating Diwali today.
