QUETTA: Imran Khan talks about the rights of peasants, but Punjab government is deliberately creating hurdles in the way of peasants.
These views were expressed by Khalid Hussain Butt, Chairman, Kisan Ittehad while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Monday. Announcing rally towards Islamabad for the rights of peasants, he said if the demands of peasants were not entertained, protest movement would be extended, adding that peasant class of the country was confronting several hardships owing to inflation.
“Kisan Ittehad does not have any kind of affiliation with any political party of the country”, adding that the said rally was being taken out for the rights of peasants. Demanding the authorities to waive off taxes imposed in the head of electricity and provide relief to the peasants, he said that taxes in different heads were being imposed.
