LAHORE: The government of Punjab has allowed the hunting of partridges from December 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024, but only on Sundays.
According to the provincial government’s notification, hunters will have to bring licensed weapons with them for the purpose.
They will also have to make sure that they do not hunt while sitting or standing in their cars. However, all kinds of hunting will remain banned in the areas declared ‘protective’ by the provincial government.
Copies of the notification have been sent to Pakistan Rangers, Punjab, all divisional commissioners, all DIGs and all deputy commissioners.
