Bhakkar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri slightly injured in road accident at Darya Khan Road in Bhakkar district of Punjab on Thursday.
According to details, Suri was coming from Lahore to Darya Khan for a public gathering when his vehicle overturned after its tyre burst on slippery road and collided with the car coming from the opposite side.
The police said Qasim Suri received minor injuries in the road crash. The rescue and police teams shifted Suri and the driver to a nearby hospital.
It may be noted that in May, PTI leader Shahbaz Gill was injured in a road mishap on the motorway while travelling from Lahore to Islamabad. A vehicle had allegedly hit Shahbaz Gill’s car from behind.
