Larkana:Members and activists of PTI, Larkana district, took out a rally from Qaim Shah Bukhari Road which after marching through major roads culminated at Jinnah Bagh here on Friday against the attack on the actual Azadi March led by party chairman Imran Khan in Gujranwala. The participants also shouted slogans with placards and flags in their hands.
On this occasion, lawyers Muhammad Ismail Abaro, Javed Ahmed Bilidi, Barkat Ali Rahi, Nadia Ashraf Chan, Fayyaz Hussain Soomro, Zubair Sarki, Shahid Hussain Sangi, Mansoor Mastoi, Asadullah Dhamrah, Samiullah Niazi, Altaf Khoso and others while talking to newsmen said that a week ago for the rights of the 22 crore people of Pakistan, a real freedom march was held from Liberty Chowk in Lahore under the leadership of former Prime Minister and Chairman of PTI Imran Khan, which reached Gujranwala last day, where indiscriminate firing was done on the leadership, as a result of which party chairman Imran Khan and many other leaders and workers were seriously injured.
They said that we strongly condemn this attack. They said that this attack was not done on Imran Khan but on the entire nation, because Khan was out to get rid of the group of thieves ruling the country and to conduct new elections in Pakistan, but to remove him from the way, Azadi March was attacked, they alleged. They said that according to the names given by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, a transparent inquiry should be conducted and the accused should be brought to justice, otherwise the scope of the protest will be widened, they warned.
