PTI Government continuation of dictatorship regimes: Khuhro

LARKANA: President, Sindh PPP, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, has announced that the party will observe 5th July as Black Day throughout Sindh during which black flags will be hoisted and protests will be held at all the district headquarters across the province.

In a statement on Sunday, Khuhro said that the PTI government is the continuation of dictatorship regimes as it is trying to strengthen the Center and weakening provinces. He said that people have been deprived of basic facilities after massive increases in petrol prices, electricity and gas tariffs and unprecedented price hikes which have reminder of dictator regimes.

Khuhro said that MQM’s demand for a separate province is a conspiracy to spread hatred among the residents of Sindh on the basis of language which will not work now because, he added, people have already rejected politics of discrimination. He said those who are demanding a separate province should first raise their voice before the Center for getting proper share of Sindh’s NFC share, water, electricity, gas and other rights. He asked why MQM is silent over gas shortage despite being part of the federal government.

Khuhro said agriculture of Sindh is being ruined due to water scarcity but even then MQM is mum. He said the federal government rejected 17 uplift schemes of Sindh but MQM remained merely a spectator.

Khuhro declared that Sindh is one and shall remain one adding PPP will ensure that all conspiracies hatched against its division should fail. He said the PTI government is taking revenge from the people of Sindh by denying proper NFC share, water, electricity and gas adding people prayed against dictator Zia’s regime in the past and now they are praying for the end of Imran Khan’s government.
