PTI Chief arrested in corruption case: Info Minister

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has been arrested in corruption case. In a tweet on Wednesday, she said at least 15 notices were dispatched to Imran Khan by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which was investigating the case. She said the PTI Chairman has to submit his reply in Al-Qadir Case, but he was not presenting himself before the court.

She said the reaction came in the country after the arrest of Imran Khan was witnessed by the entire nation in which PTI leaders were inciting their workers to ransacking and putting the properties on fire. She questioned that why leaders were not stopping the party workers when they were damaging the state and private property. She said PML-N did not give such response even when its leaders including Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Rana Sanaullah, Saad Rafique and others were arrested. She said those who will take law into their hands neither belong to Pakistan nor are they Pakistani citizens.
