Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Balochistan today announced its support for Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party’s (PKMAP) candidate, Majeed Khan Achakzai, in the upcoming re-poll for PB-45 Quetta on December 19, 2024.
The announcement was made by PTI Balochistan leader Sardar Zain-ul-Abideen Khilji during a joint press conference with PKMAP Provincial President Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan at Quetta Press Club.
Khilji stated that PTI’s candidate, Mir Liaquat Lehri, along with PTI workers, would now campaign for PKMAP’s candidate. He criticized the ruling government, alleging estrictions on PTI activities, including barring martyrs’ families from offering prayers in Pishin.
PKMAP’s Abdul Qahar Wadan expressed gratitude for PTI’s support and called the action against PTI workers at D-Chowk undemocratic. He also acknowledged Imran Khan’s popularity as a national leader. He said that the doors of press club had also been closed for PTI
Other PTI provincial leaders, including Mir Liaquat Lehri and Malak Faisal Dehwar, were present at the event.
