Protesters urge UN to play role in resolving Kashmir dispute as per its resolutions

A protest to condemn the speech of Indian External Affairs Minister to the UN General Assembly’s 77th session was held in front of United Nations office in Islamabad on Saturday.

A large number of people from all walk of life and Islamabad based Kashmiris participated in the protest.

Speakers on the occasion strongly condemned the anti-Muslims barbarism in India. They urged the United Nations to play its due role in resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute as per its resolutions.

Speaking on the occasion, All Parties Hurriyet Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chapter leader, Mahmood Ahmad Sagar appreciated the speech of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the UN General Assembly.

He said the United Nations should immediately send observers to the Indian illegally occupied Jammua and Kashmir to monitor the grave human rights violations committed by the occupation forces.
