Peshawar:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that legal action be taken against those responsible for the collapse of a school roof in Peshawar.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister discussed the incident via telephone with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, requesting a comprehensive report and a thorough investigation.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep grief over the loss of lives, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also instructed that the injured receive the best possible medical treatment and that affected families be given all necessary assistance.
In the conversation, Governor Kundi informed the Prime Minister that the school owner has been arrested and an inquiry is underway.
