Prime Minister Sharif Advocates Pakistan’s Global Stance at UN

New York:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly presented Pakistan's perspective on various global issues at the United Nations, as stated by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dar briefed the media about the diplomatic activities of the Pakistani delegation, led by Sharif, during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Prime Minister's speech covered Pakistan's position on Kashmir, Palestine, the US-Iran conflict, Pak-India relations, the Middle East situation, and the country's efforts for peace.

Dar noted that this was the first time the Prime Minister of Pakistan's address received enthusiastic applause from the audience at the UN General Assembly. He emphasized Pakistan's active role in promoting multilateralism and the peaceful resolution of global disputes.

The Deputy Prime Minister also condemned the Houthi militia's attacks on Saudi Arabia, especially those targeting civilian infrastructure in the holy cities. Dar asserted that these attacks on Saudi Arabia and the Haramain Sharifain are entirely unacceptable.
