Prime Minister Pledges to Combat Terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad:Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to discuss issues concerning Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister emphasized the urgent need to halt the rising terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that it must be stopped at all costs. He expressed the government's commitment to ensuring that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa develops on par with other regions of the country.

Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged the significant sacrifices made by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in their fight against terrorism. He also instructed that efforts continue to focus on the welfare, development, and provision of basic facilities for the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

He reiterated that the development and prosperity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan remain among the government's top priorities.
