Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced a significant increase in a key financial support program for young entrepreneurs. Funds for the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme will be doubled for the next fiscal year.

The allocation for the program has been increased from 100 billion rupees to 200 billion rupees for 2025-26. This substantial investment aims to promote self-reliance among youth by providing them with capital for new ventures.

The increase in funds reflects the government’s commitment to fostering youth-led business growth and economic development in the business and agricultural sectors. The initiative aims to equip the next generation with the resources they need to launch and expand successful businesses.
