Prime Minister Arrives in Washington for Inaugural Peace Summit with U.S. Leadership

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has landed in the U.S. capital for a three-day official trip, where he is scheduled to participate in the first-ever session of the Board of Peace following a direct invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to an official report today, during his stay, the Prime Minister is expected to hold talks with high-ranking officials from the United States administration as well as with other international leaders present for the meeting.

The high-level diplomatic occasion is anticipated to serve as a platform for deliberations on a range of subjects, including bilateral relations between the two nations and pressing global issues of shared interest.
