Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed on his 55th martyrdom anniversary. In their separate statements, they acknowledged Rashid Minhas Shaheed's enduring example of courage, devotion to duty, and patriotism, emphasizing that his unmatched sacrifice for the motherland will always be remembered.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President highlighted that the sacrifices made by martyrs like Rashid Minhas underpin Pakistan's defence, security, and national resolve. He stressed that these sacrifices are crucial to the nation's strength and unity.

The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan's unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests. He emphasized that the legacy of Rashid Minhas Shaheed serves as an inspiration for future generations to continue protecting the country's values and principles.
