President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, stated that the struggle will continue until the complete liberation of Occupied Kashmir. He highlighted the Kashmir issue during his visits to the UK and the USA.
The President emphasized that the world should know that the Kashmiris’ struggle has been ongoing for decades, and despite India’s oppression, the spirit of the Kashmiri people remains high.
Discussing developmental projects in Mirpur, the President reviewed the progress of the Rathua Haryam Bridge and promised its early completion. He inaugurated the first parking plaza in Mirpur and emphasized the need for establishing an international airport.
He mentioned that the completion of the motorway and business center under the CPEC project will increase development opportunities in Mirpur.
The President condemned Israeli aggression in Gaza and urged the international community to take action.
The people of Mirpur gave the President a warm welcome and praised his leadership. Lawyers, traders, and other dignitaries attended the gathering.
The President remarked that thanks to the love and support of the people of Mirpur, he has been elected as a member of the assembly nine times and holds a high position in the state.
