President Dr Arif Alvi and First Lady Begum Samina Alvi have lauded and felicitated the entire team and administration of Pakistan Special Olympics for winning medals in Berlin games.

They said this while talking to members of Pakistan’s Special Olympics team who called on them in Islamabad today.

The President said entire Special Olympics team showed great talent in the field and raised name of the country which is matter of pride for the nation.

He lauded people with mental disabilities for their participation in sports.

The President underscored the need to increase inclusion of persons with disabilities in positive activities.

He said special persons should be given a chance to make their name in health, education, employment and sports.

Dr Arif Alvi stressed on provision of jobs to special people according to their skills and abilities.
