Baku:President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists in the Washuk district of Balochistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders made separate statements in which they reiterated their commitment to continue effective operations against terrorist elements that disrupt peace and spread fear in Balochistan. President Zardari emphasized that the conspiracies of foreign sponsors and local facilitators of terrorists would be thwarted at all costs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significance of recovering modern arms and ammunition from terrorists, indicating the seriousness of the threat. He stated that the ongoing successful operations by security forces demonstrate the nation's unwavering resolve against terrorism. Sharif also stressed that the joint national determination against terrorism is crucial for the country's peace and security.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the sacrifices made by officers and Jawans of the security forces and law enforcement agencies for national security. He remarked that the entire nation pays tribute to these forces for their sacrifices and outstanding performance. Sharif affirmed that the courage, professional competence, and strategy of the security forces are fully capable of defeating terrorist designs. He expressed the commitment that security operations would persist with strong national support until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
