Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces and police for killing forty-nine terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in joint intelligence-based operations. In his statement, the President said terrorist elements operating with external backing will never succeed in sabotaging peace and stability in the country. He said operations will continue with full force until the complete elimination of terrorism.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari emphasized that the day is not far when the people of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will completely rid themselves of terrorism and achieve peace, national development, and prosperity. The Prime Minister highlighted that these operations are a manifestation of the professionalism of the security forces and police. Shehbaz Sharif expressed that the government is committed to completely eliminating terrorism from the country.
