BAHAWALPUR: A poverty-stricken woman on Wednesday poisoned her kids to death after she could not be able to feed them, and later also swallowed poison following which she died in Bahawalpur.

The woman and two of her kids including 7-year-old daughter Rabia and 5-year-old son Murtaza lost their lives in the city. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the locality. However, two other kids – Ayan and Faizan – were in critical condition at a hospital. The incident occurred in the Mithra Bangly area of Bahawalpur. There were no information about her husband or whether she was living alone.
