ISLAMABAD: Political leaders hailing from different areas of the country separately called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif here in Islamabad on Friday.

Those who met the Prime Minister included PML-N Balochistan President Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, former Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez ur Rahman, Member National Assembly Chaudhry Ehsanul Haque Bajwa and former members of Provincial Assembly Punjab Sufi Akram and Zahid Akram.

They discussed problems related to their respective areas as well as overall political situation of the country. During meeting with Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, progress on development projects in Balochistan, initiated on the directives of the Prime Minister and positive public response regarding it, were discussed.

Earlier, talking to the Minister of State for Power Hashim Notezai, who called on him here Islamabad on Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said development of Balochistan is one of the topmost priorities of the government. During the meeting, overall political situation of the county as well as matters related to power division were discussed.
