Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will lead Pakistan”s delegation to the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The premier”s address will focus on pressing global issues, including the situations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.

Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with other officials, Sharif will urge the international community to address the ongoing occupation and denial of self-determination in these regions. He will also call for urgent action to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.

The Prime Minister”s speech will encompass Pakistan”s viewpoint on regional security, climate change, terrorism, Islamophobia, and sustainable development. His schedule includes high-level meetings related to the UN Security Council, the Global Development Initiative, and climate action.

Sharif will also engage with select Islamic leaders and US President Donald Trump to discuss regional and international peace and security. Bilateral discussions with other world leaders and UN officials are also planned.

As a member of the Security Council, the Prime Minister will emphasize Pakistan”s dedication to upholding the UN Charter, conflict prevention, and global prosperity. His presence at the UNGA underscores Pakistan”s commitment to multilateralism and its contributions to peace and development.
