The polio vaccination campaign entered its fourth day on Thursday, covering 115 districts across the country, according to the Ministry of National Health Services.
By the end of the third day, nearly 17.3 million children successfully vaccinated against polio. Ayesha Raza Farooq, the Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication, emphasized that substantial measures are being implemented to eradicate the poliovirus.
She said under the Prime Minister’s leadership, we are executing a comprehensive strategy to achieve polio eradication. She said in the coming months, 3 to 4 highquality campaigns will play a crucial role in eradicating polio.
She said rigorous efforts are ongoing to prevent the spread of the virus. Ayesha Raza Farooq called on parents to extend their full support to polio workers, who are making doortodoor visits to ensure a healthy future for children.
