Khyber:Another policeman was shot dead within 24 hours in a target killing incident in Bara tehsil of Khyber district on Wednesday.

The policeman, Abdul Qadeer, was targeted near his house while he was going on duty escorting polio vaccinators team. The second target killing of a policeman within 24 hours sent a wave of shock and panic among the locals.

Meanwhile, the funeral prayers for Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Constable Inamullah, who was martyred by terrorists the other night in the limits of Bara police station in Khyber district, were performed at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines.

On the occasion, a smart contingent of police presented a salute to the martyr. The Peshawar commissioner and senior police officers placed flowers on the coffin of the martyr and prayed for the elevation of his ranks in the Hereafter.
