Police Headquarters Hospital Garden Initiates Medical Camps

KARACHI:,,, In a proactive move to extend free medical services to police personnel and their families at their doorsteps, the Police Headquarters Hospital Garden has launched medical camps on the directives of Inspector General of Sindh, Riffat Mukhtar Raja.

The inaugural phase witnessed the setup of medical camps in proximity to police stations Risala and Eidgah.

Under the supervision of AIGP Welfare Zubair Nazeer, these camps offered a range of laboratory tests and medications, especially lady doctors.

At the PS Eidgah camp, more than 160 police personnels and their families received free hepatitis, lipid profile, CBC, uric acid tests, and medications. Dedicated Gynecologists and Pediatricians were present to cater exclusively to women and children.

The 65% of beneficiaries at PS Risala were women.

Over a two-days camp at PS Risala, 140 police officials and their families availed medical facilities.

AIGP Welfare Zubair Nazeer, during his inspection of the medical camps, was briefed by Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Ramesh.

AIGP Welfare Zubair Nazeer emphasized that these medical camps, organized in compliance with IG Sindh Riffat Mukhtar Raja’s directives, aim to provide free healthcare across different districts and police residences. The initiative not only offers medical services but also raises awareness about the available facilities and equipment at the Police Headquarters, contributing to the overall well-being of police personnel and their families.
